WELCOME TO YOUR SANCTURY

Whether you’re here for a day of deep rest or staying overnight to completely unplug, every detail has been thoughtfully created to help you slow down, let go, and simply be.

Overnight Retreats

The Garden Flat – Your Private Sanctuary

For The Homecoming weekend retreat, you’ll stay in The Garden Flat – a little piece of paradise tucked away in the heart of Bolton-le-Sands.

The Space

This charming one-bedroom cottage has been thoughtfully designed to blend character with comfort. Think soft luxury linens, a supremely comfortable bed with high-thread-count sheets, plush towels, and Bramley bath products for a long soak in the tub.

The interiors are warm and inviting – a cosy retreat where you can completely unwind. After a day of deep healing work, you’ll sink into bed and sleep like you haven’t slept in years.

The Garden

Step outside into your private garden – a lush, secluded haven where you can sit with your morning tea, journal in the afternoon sun, or simply breathe in the evening air. Surrounded by greenery and birdsong, it’s the perfect escape from the bustle of everyday life.

This is where you’ll truly understand what it means to pause.

Day Retreats

Grassendale House

Most retreats take place in the main house – a peaceful, light-filled space designed for healing and transformation.

The Retreat Space

The moment you step inside, you’ll feel the shift. Natural light pours through tall windows, warm wooden floors ground the space, and every corner invites you to settle in and exhale.

This is where we gather for meditation, where Reiki sessions unfold, where lunch is shared around the table, and where you’ll find yourself finally able to let your shoulders drop and your mind quiet.

The space flows beautifully between the welcoming sitting room – with its comfortable sofas and gentle ambiance – through to the bright dining area where we share nourishing meals together. It’s a home, not a clinic. A place where you can truly be yourself.

Everything here is designed for your comfort and ease. Soft lighting, meditation cushions, healing crystals, comfortable seating, and that rare commodity: complete privacy and peace.

The Food

Colourful, Bold & Made With Love

Every meal is a celebration – of local ingredients, seasonal creativity, and the joy of nourishing food that actually tastes extraordinary.

I prepare each dish myself with care and love. My cooking is inspired by Ottolenghi but with my own unique twist – think vibrant flavours, fresh ingredients, and creative flair that makes every bite feel special.

We take pride in sourcing from exceptional local producers:

  • Bread and pastries from Lovingly Artisan
  • Fish from Shoreways
  • Seasonal vegetables and milk from the Local Gather Network
  • Quality meat from Roast Mutton
  • Rinaldo’s Specialty Coffee & Fine Tea
